Aircraft preparing for landing



Mask Requirements:
+ Everyone in the airport, in airport facilities (including the Car Rental Center) and on airport shuttles/buses are required to wear a mask covering the nose and mouth (neck gaiters must be double layered or folded over).
+ This is a requirement for everyone ages 2 and older.  
+ Face shields must be accompanied by a mask covering the nose and mouth. 
+ Refusal may result in Federal civil penalties, removal from airport facilities and denial of re-entry.

+ City ordinance also still requires masks to be worn in the airport.

March 2021:
+ All travelers are encouraged to stay updated regarding travel advisories/restrictions for domestic U.S. destinations, not only international destinations. State governments, state departments of health and city governments are offering online resources to keep travelers updated. The CDC offers a travel planner tool that may help you find travel advisories for your destination.
+ All airlines operating at WRWA require face coverings for passengers and visitors throughout the travel process. This includes waiting areas, jet bridges and on the aircraft. Please check with your airline for details. 
+ Food/beverage options are still limited due to the impact of COVID-19. All of the following times are subject to change, based on flight schedules:
   - The Grill at OKC (Gates 18-20): 6:30a.m. to :30 minutes before last flight
   - Tuk Tuk Go (Grab & Go/Coffee) (Gates 12-14): Open for early flights at 5:30a.m., and intermittently, based on flight schedules  
   - OKC Flight Cantina (Gates 8-10): 6:30a.m. (Closing time based on flight shedule)
+ Retail options are still limited due to the impact of COVID-19. All of the following times are subject to change, based on flight schedules:
   - Pops West (Gate 5): 5a.m. to 4p.m.
   - InMotion Entertainment (Gate 9): Hours based on flight schedules in west concourse
   - Brighton Collectibles (Gate 9): Hours based on flight schedules in west concourse
   - Pops East (Gate 20): Hours based on Delta's flight schedule
   - CNBC (Gate 14): 5a.m. to 5:30p.m.

What We're Doing

At Will Rogers World Airport, the safety of customers, partners and employees is our top priority. We've provided some information below regarding our response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This information includes not only the steps we're taking, but steps travelers can take that could help keep them stay healthy while traveling.

What we're doing in the airport:
+ Janitorial staff is working diligently to keep touch points and heavy traffic areas disinfected.
+ Physical and digital signage has been installed throughout the airport to remind passengers/employees about mask requirements and how they can help prevent the spread of COVID-19. 
+ Queue Guard barriers (Lavi Industries) have been installed at the security to checkpoint to give passengers the ability to physically distance as they wait in queue. 
+ Touchless water fountains and bottle fillers have been installed in the terminal for passenger safety.  
+ We're staying closely connected to our partners to receive updates regarding the spread of COVID-19 (OCCHD, OKHealth, OKCEM, City of OKC). 
+ We're communicating with our airline partners about their needs and helping them to keep their gate areas disinfected. 
+ We're working with TSA to implement technologies that will help keep the checkpoint and queue safer for passengers. 
+ Fully complying with emergency proclamations from the Federal government and the City of Oklahoma City regarding all operations in the airport.

What You Can Do

We're trying to do our part to prevent the spread of this infectious disease, but we need your help.

Please adhere to these important practices if you plan to travel:
+ Wear a mask at all times (required) whether you are flying or just visiting the airport.
+ If you are sick, do not fly. This can include colds, flu, "stomach bugs"... anything that could be contagious.
+ Monitor your flight status closely with your airline. We expect them to make changes to their service.
+ If possible, practice social distancing the entire time you are in the airport. The CDC recommends at least six feet.
+ Watch this video from the TSA (@TSA) Twitter about health items through the checkpoint.
+ Wash your hands frequently and effectively. Per the CDC, that's 20 full seconds of washing with water and soap.
+ Adhere to CDC tips on how to prevent the spread of respiratory diseases (
+ Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
+ Cover your cough/sneeze, even if you have a mask on,  and throw tissues away after 1 use.
+ Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
+ Keep a supply of hand sanitizer with you and use it frequently.
+ Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces.
