Oklahoma City Museum of Art Installs Chihuly Glass at WRWA

A signature work of art by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly has been installed at Will Rogers World Airport.  The piece, entitled “Ancestor White Seaform Set with Lava Black Lip Wraps,” is part of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s permanent Chihuly collection and will be on display at the airport for an indefinite time.

Located in the central concourse near the food court, the display offers travelers a glimpse of the second largest collection of Chihuly glass in the world located at the OKC Museum of Art.  It also introduces visitors to the remarkable art and cultural offerings in the community.

The exhibit contains 29 total pieces of glass.
